Cable Cubby Series/2
The Extron Cable Cubby® Series/2 is the next generation of Cable Cubby cable access enclosures, the AV industry’s gold standard for conference table AV connectivity, AC power, and cable management. These sophisticated yet durable, furniture-mountable enclosures blend seamlessly with any furniture and room décor, virtually disappearing into the surface when closed. Cable Cubby Series/2 enclosures are engineered for fast assembly and installation on the job site. A simple, elegant integrated clamp system secures Cable Cubby Series/2 enclosures to the furniture surface without the need for tools or additional parts. These versatile modular enclosures accommodate Extron Retractor or Retractor XL cable retraction modules, AV cables, or AAP – Architectural Adapter Plates, and can be easily customized to your exact needs, using the online Extron Cable Cubby Builder. For AC power, AC 100 Series power modules with two AC outlets, or the unique AC+USB 200 Series power module with both AC and USB power outlets for charging or powering mobile devices, are available for the US, Europe, and other major world markets. All models are available in black anodized or brushed aluminum finishes and accommodate a wide selection of optional connector combinations. Cable Cubby AC power modules are available for the US, Europe, and other major world markets. Cable Cubby TouchLink touch panels blend seamlessly into aesthetically-sensitive, high profile surroundings, mounting nearly flush with the tabletop when not in use.

Hideaway® Surface Access Enclosures
Extron HSA - Hideaway Surface Access enclosures offer a perfect blend of practicality and sophistication, with inconspicuous and convenient access to AC power and AV system connections. HSA enclosures are available in three primary configurations that complement most room designs and furniture types: compact, tilt-up enclosures with fixed connectivity; tilt-up, modular enclosures with configurable connectivity; and vertically lifting, double-sided enclosures that provide access to connectivity and power from either side of the table. HSA enclosures are designed for easy mounting into tables, desks, or other AV furniture. Once installed, Extron HSA enclosures fit nearly flush with the furniture surface, storing power and AV connectors out of sight until needed.

Extron AAPs & MAAPs
One of the most important considerations in any AV system design is deciding how users will interact with and connect to the system. Extron AAP - Architectural Adapter Plates and MAAP - Mini Architectural Adapter Plates are mountable metal plates available in hundreds of models offering popular AV pass-through connectors. Active AAP and MAAP modules are also available for power, control, and long distance signal transmission. These interchangeable components fit together to create an attractive and completely customizable AV connectivity solution.

Two Form Factors: AAPs and MAAPs
AAP - Architectural Adapter Plates – AAPs are the larger of the two styles and they hold more connectors. AAPs attach from the rear which makes for a clean looking front face.

MAAP - Mini Architectural Adapter Plates– MAAPs are slightly smaller than AAPs and work well where space is limited. MAAPs feature easy access to mounting screws from the front.

Two Color Options Available
Most AAP and MAAP plates are available in black and white.

Standard Labels and Custom Engraving
Many models are available with silkscreened text indicating common connector types and control functions (e.g., VIDEO, AUDIO, POWER, VOLUME, and more). Extron also offers custom engraving for most models.

Architectural Mounting Frames
Extron offers an assortment of Architectural Mounting Frames that support the installation of AAP – Architectural Adapter Plates, MAAP – Mini Architectural Adapter Plates, and Decora® modules for AV connectivity, control, and AC power. These frames allow AV technology to blend into the surrounding environment for improved aesthetics and ease of access. Table Mount and Furniture Mount frames are ideal for placing AV connectivity and AC power within easy reach of the user. Surface Mount Boxes provide an alternative to cutting the furniture surface or placing connectivity on a wall. Wall Mount and Floor Box frames facilitate placement where space is at a premium, and Rack Mount frames facilitate placement within furniture-mounted rack rails and traditional equipment racks.
