MegaDome® 2 multi-megapixel cameras provide ample resolution to zoom-in for details in live or recorded video. These indoor/outdoor all-in-one solutions integrate a 1.3-, 1080p, 3-, 5- or 10-megapixel (MP) camera with the fastest frame rates in the industry and an IR corrected motorized wide angle or telephoto vari-focal lens (auto-iris/P-iris with WDR) into an IP66 environmental rated and IK-10 impact resistant dome housing. Remote focus and remote zoom make MegaDome® 2 the easiest to install cameras in our product line. MegaDome® 2 are also available in manual lens models.

Futures Specifications

The AV5255PMTIR-H MegaDomesup>® 2 series network camera is part of Arecont Vision’s full line of H.264 MegaDomesup>® series cameras. This fully compliant implementation of H.264 (MPEG 4, Part 10) provides full 2592 x 1944 megapixel resolution at full video frame rates of 14fps. The AV5255PMTIR-H camera line provides an all-in-one solution with integrated 5 megapixel camera, telephoto 9-22mm remote focus, remote zoom, p-iris telephoto lens, IR illuminator and IP66 and vandal resistant dome enclosure. With the features of binned mode, PSIA compliance, privacy masking, extended motion detection and flexible cropping, the AV5255AM is a high sensitivity, PoE (IEEE 802.3af) compliant camera with heater. Built with Arecont Vision’s massively-parallel MegaVideosup>® technology, this camera offers over four times the resolution of standard resolution IP cameras with the ability to output full real-time frame rates and deliver the high quality megapixel imaging for both indoor and outdoor applications.
