The DS551LX2 is a 55-inch super narrow bezel LCD featuring full HD resolution and LED backlight. Each screen comes individually color calibrated for exceptional color quality and uniformity amongst multiple displays. With an ultra slim 5.3 mm bezel-to-bezel width, multiple screens can be placed side by side to create near seamless image.

Super Narrow Bezel for Video Walls
The DS551LX2 features an ultra slim 5.3 mm bezel-to-bezel dimension for video wall applications.  With built-in video daisy chaining, a single 1080p source can be used on video walls up to 6x6 in size without the need for any additional external video wall controller. By combining a narrow bezel display with the benefits of a high brightness LED back light, these displays are ideal for indoor environments that receive a high amount of external daylight such as airports, shopping centers and storefront window displays.

LED Backlit with Local Dimming

LED back lighting is both more energy efficient and provides a much brighter image than traditional CCFL backlights. Due to the compact nature of LEDs, displays are also typically thinner. DynaScan’s DS² line of LCDs utilize a proprietary system of LED backlighting which is not only more energy efficient than traditional CCFL backlights, it is also considerably brighter.

The DS551LX2 features a local dimming LED back light technique for a remarkably high contrast picture as high as 1,000,000:1 (dynamic). With direct local dimming, darker areas of an image receive less backlighting than lighter areas, as opposed to CCFL and edge-lit LED backlights which illuminate an entire screen at all times causing blacks and dark areas to appear washed out.

EvenGlow Technology

Even with direct LED backlighting, lighting can appear uneven and create a visual “hot spot” toward the center of the screen with the corners slightly darker. DynaScan's new EvenGlow™ technology produces an evenly illuminated image and greatly reduces hot spots. This is especially beneficial in video wall configurations in which darker areas become more apparent where four corners join together.  

Color Temperature and Quality

Ensuring the color and brightness of each screen in a tiled matrix matches can be time consuming and requires additional calibration hardware. Each screen is individually color calibrated to the D65 (6500K) CIE color standard. Not only does this produce a true, natural white, the color of all screens will be uniform.




Auto Brightness Control

Different external lighting conditions require different brightness levels. An onboard light sensor measures the ambient light in the area and automatically adjusts the image accordingly.


Full HD Resolution

With a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Full HD, the DS65LT4 provides a super sharp image for easy to read text and incredible detail
